As a result of the privatization of space, companies like SpaceX, Blue Origin and Boeing are capable of sending cost-effective carrier rockets into space.
This will make it possible to transport hundreds of small satellites into orbit in future. Whether it is the flow of customers at supermarket car parks, property prices in large cities or container traffic in ports – high-resolution satellite images will form the basis for new business models and enable us to detect famines and natural disasters in advance.
In future, satellites will be able to unite and form complex networks and thereby allow a comprehensive provision of internet connections. This brings 150 emerging and developing countries closer to a link-up to the broadband network.
